3. Author Rights and Ownership

Copyright Retention: You retain 100% ownership and copyright of your manuscript and all intellectual property. NexGen Book Publishers does not claim any ownership rights to your work.

License to Publish: By engaging our services, you grant NexGen Book Publishers a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and market your book through various channels during the term of our agreement. This license terminates upon the conclusion of our service agreement or upon your written request.

4. Payment Terms

Service Fees: Pricing for our services will be provided in a detailed quote or service agreement. Payment terms may include upfront fees, milestone payments, or other arrangements as agreed upon.

Royalties: Authors receive royalties on book sales as outlined in their individual publishing agreement. Royalty rates typically range from 70-85% of net proceeds depending on distribution channels.

Refunds: Refund policies will be specified in individual service agreements. Generally, services already rendered are non-refundable.

5. Author Responsibilities

As an author using our services, you agree to:

• Provide original content that does not infringe on third-party rights
• Ensure your manuscript does not contain defamatory, obscene, or illegal content
• Respond to editorial feedback and queries in a timely manner
• Review and approve final proofs before publication
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide accurate contact and payment information

6. Content Guidelines

We reserve the right to refuse service for manuscripts that contain:

• Plagiarized or copyright-infringing content
• Illegal activities or instructions for illegal acts
• Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
• Content that violates third-party rights
• Misleading or fraudulent information

7. Distribution and Marketing

NexGen Book Publishers will make reasonable efforts to distribute your book through agreed-upon channels. However, we do not guarantee specific sales results, rankings, or bestseller status. Marketing services are provided as outlined in your service agreement, and results may vary based on market conditions, book genre, and other factors beyond our control.

8. Third-Party Retailers

Important Disclaimer: NexGen Book Publishers is not affiliated with Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo, or any other major retailers. We do not have official partnerships, endorsements, or associations with these platforms. We facilitate distribution to these retailers as an independent publishing service provider. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement according to the terms specified in the individual contract. Upon termination:

• You retain all rights to your work
• We will provide you with final files (if paid for)
• Outstanding payments must be settled
• Distribution arrangements may continue or be transferred as agreed

10. Limitation of Liability

NexGen Book Publishers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific services in question. We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NexGen Book Publishers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any third-party rights, (c) content you provide that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights, or (d) any defamatory or illegal content in your manuscript.

12. Communications Consent

By providing your contact information and checking the consent box on our forms, you agree to receive communications from us via email, SMS, and phone. This includes:

• Service updates and project-related communications
• Marketing and promotional messages
• Account notifications and reminders

You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to SMS messages or clicking unsubscribe in emails. Standard carrier charges may apply for SMS messages.

13. Dispute Resolution
